Mercy – Care and encouragement for others.
Congregational Care Team Members (The care provided by these crucial volunteers will be tailored to each person’s gifts and interests. They might be making calls to others, sending notes of encouragement, visiting people, having lunch/coffee with them or making hospital visits. They will express Jesus’ love and care to people in our congregation.)
Volunteers to prepare meals for home delivery (Partner with another volunteer to prepare and deliver meals as needed to those with family members who are hospitalized or have other needs and could use a meal.)
Hosts/Baristas for Coffee Time to sub in the kitchen on Tuesdays/Wednesdays 11:00-12:30.
Prayer Team Members (Join the prayer as they pray for Alma Church of God and the needs of our people. All are welcome, a desire to pray is all that’s needed.)
Administration – Organizing projects. Coordinating details.
Coordinator for Meals that are delivered to homes.
Administrative support for His Place (Office, computer, organizing help.)
Leadership – Inspiring teams. Raising up leaders.
Missions Committee Member (Join the Missions Committee in strategically planning how to use God’s resources locally and globally, to further His kingdom and provide encounters with Jesus.)
Helping – Working with my hands to do a project.
On call support for miscellaneous office tasks (bulk mailings, print prep etc.)
Pew re-stocker (check pews bi-weekly and refill any missing elements like envelopes, pens, etc.)
Make Homemade cookies or breads for Coffee Time at His Place.
On call snow shoveling support for Sunday morning services.
Spring Clean Up Day (Help clean up and maintain church grounds, Date TBD.)
On call set up & take down team for His Place. (setting up tables, chairs etc.)
Welcoming – Helping people feel they belong.
Sunday Morning Greeters (welcome people into the church and sanctuary before Sunday morning services.)
Discipling – Helping adults, families, and children learn and grow as they follow Jesus.
Childcare helpers (Serve in Nursery or Little Learners with young children while parents join Sunday service.)
Children’s Ministry helpers (Serve the children in Children’s Church or Sunday School on Sunday mornings.)
His Kids Group Leader (Lead a small group of children every Wednesday 3:00-5:00pm, play, chat, laugh, and share Jesus’ love!)
Creative / Technical Arts – Music, writing, sound, media
Musicians: Drums, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and keyboard (Not sure? Come join us for a rehearsal, play along and see if it’s something you’d enjoy.)
Tech Crew: Sound board and media – slides for the screen (A training session will be provided prior to serving.)
