People visit churches for many different reasons, we’re glad you’ve chosen to visit Alma First Church of God.

We are a community of Christians who believe that God is working in our time to bring renewal in the world. We ourselves have experienced God’s rejuvenating power, and so we are called to be agents of God’s love. We seek to be an authentic Christian community, empowered by the Spirit, bringing glory to Jesus Christ. We gladly welcome all people from all walks of life who wish to join us on the journey of renewal!

First Steps

1. Those who are new are invited to join us for a class we call Our DNA. We will discuss what makes us unique as a church (our particular mission and purpose) and ways you can get involved. Please RSVP to 463-3730 or firstcog@gmail.com. Our DNA: Sunday, January 29, 2012, 2:00-5:30pm.

2. Please also join us for a twelve-week follow-up to Our DNA called Starting Point. We will explore the ‘foundations’ of the Christian journey more deeply and begin a process of discernment about how we can serve God faithfully in church and the world. Starting Point: Sundays, February 5 – 26, 2012 at 9:45am.
