Our Christian Education team is committed to providing resources, such as classes, seminars and retreats, for our congregation and its members to help us develop "the mind of Christ" - to help equip people to become more like Jesus. We need your help! We ask you to take a few minutes to fill out this survey and let us know what you need. The CE team will use your feedback to develop resources that we hope will meet your needs. February 19 - Creative Greetings

Will meet Thursday, February 19th at 7:00 pm in the church basement. Please join us if you are interested in creating home made cards. For more information contact Kristi Caszatt or phone 875-0615 (H) or 875-4100 (W). All are welcome!

February 21 - Middle Ground Feel like you're in the middle? In that 30-ish age range? Maybe you are a young married couple without children, maybe you are a young single person or maybe even a young married couple with children - the bottom line is that you are seeking the connections of a group of people to "grow" alongside. Middle Ground will meet at the Church of God Campgrounds this Saturday, February 21st at 7:00 PM for a spaghetti dinner. Please bring a salad or dessert to pass. Everything else will be provided. February 22 - Honduras 2009

If you are interested in the July 30th - August 8th missions trip to La Ceiba, Honduras, there will be a short informational meeting following each service Sunday, February 22nd in the west room. Please contact Rachel Messer or phone 989-801-0608.

Call for Artists

Calling all artists! We are looking for paintings, drawings and other 2D or 3D media representing the theme "Come Together ... Love is Why." If you wish to share your compositions with the church, please contact the church office.

February 28 - The Ultimate Date Night

Your Healthy Marriage Healthy Church team is excited to announce an Ultimate Date Night with Jay & Laura Laffoon at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church on February 28 at 7:30pm. This is an evening of fun and romance! Tickets are $6.00 per person ($12.00 per couple) and are on sale near the Welcome Center.

February 28 - Eight Cap, Inc. 4th Annual Walk for Warmth

Join with Eight Cap in raising money to help heat the homes for needy families and individuals in Gratiot and Isabella counties. The event will be held Saturday, February 28th from 10:30 - 1:00pm and will begin at His Place. The walk will take you around downtown Alma and back to His Place for a soup/bread cook off. Pick up your pledge from at the Welcome Center today!

February 25 - April 5 - 40 Days for Life

A national campaign to end abortion through prayer and fasting will be held from February 25th through April 5th. Join with others from around the world to protect human life. A group in Lansing will pray outside an abortion clinic as a peaceful demonstration around the clock for the 40 days. The Perfect Fit

Maybe you've tried on other ministry roles only to discover they didn't fit your gifts and strengths as well as you would have liked. Have you considered the role of a ChristCare Equipper? It may be a much better fit for you. The next Equippers Training Course is April 26th through May 2nd. Call Beverly at 463-3730 for more information.

ChristCare Small Groups

We have room for YOU in one of our ChristCare small groups. Complete a ChristCare Interest card at the Welcome Center today and one of our Equippers will contact you.

Teamagers

Only three more months left before our summer break. Teamagers meet the first Sunday of each month at His Place immediately following our 11:00 Worship Service. All who are age 55 and older are WELCOME. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service. Beverages are provided. Hope to see you there.
