December 6 - Pastor's Class "Our DNA"
Sunday, December 6th from 2-5:30 PM, Pastor Steve would like to invite everyone who's new to our congregation to "Our DNA, A Class for Newcomers. During this session, we'll discuss what makes us unique as a church, our particular mission and purpose. We'll also talk about the message First Church of God exists to share, how newcomers can get involved, what the church expects of its members and much more. We will enjoy a complimentary meal together during the last hour of the class. If you've been wondering how to get involved at First Church of God, or what makes this church tick, this is the place to begin. 'Our DNA...' will meet in the west room. Please RSVP to the church office by Friday December 4th before 3:00 PM.

December 11-13: Come Home to Alma Activities
- The Honduras Mission team will be sponsoring a Baked Potato Dinner during the Come Home to Alma event on Friday, December 11th beginning at 5:00 pm. The dinner will include a baked potato, with various toppings, homemade pie, and beverages all for only $5.00 A hot dog and chips plate will be available for $2.50. Please support the Honduras team as they join their Lives to God's Love for the World.
- Youth-Led Living Nativity at the His Place parking lot. Evening presentation times are 7:00pm, 7:30pm,and 8:00pm. Please contact Pastor Ben at 463-8903 or email churchofgodfillingstation@yahoo.com, for more information or if you have questions.
- The Worship Choir will also perform during the Come Home to Alma weekend on Friday the 11th @ 6:15 & 7:15 pm at the Academy of Performing Arts in downtown Alma.
December 19 - Fundraiser and Comedy Night
Featuring the comedy of Jay Laffoon! All proceeds for the Building Blast Campaign. Saturday, Dec. 19th @ His Place. Silent Auction at 6:30. Program starts at 7:00. Tickets are $7.50 each and are available at the church. For questions, call Amy Isom at 463-5317 or Kristi Caszatt at (989)763-8010
