November 1 - Our DNA, A Class for NewcomersThis Sunday, November 1st from 2 - 5:30 PM, Pastor Steve would like to invite everyone who is new to our congregation to "Our DNA, A Class for Newcomers." During this session, we'll discuss what makes us unique as a church, our particular mission and purpose. We'll also talk about the message First Church of God exists to share, how newcomers can get involved, what the church expects of its members and much more. We will enjoy a complimentary meal together during the last hour of the class. If you've been wondering how to get involved at First Church of God, or what makes this church tick, this is the place to begin. "Our DNA..." will meet in the west room. Annual Information Meeting and Business Meetings,
November 1 and 15
Our annual information meeting, "Mission 2010" will take place this Sunday, November 1st @ 5:45 PM in the Sanctuary. At this meeting, we will discuss the financial plan and ministry team leaders for 2010. We will also discuss some of the questions that have been raised during the "Building Blast" desserts regarding the plans for the Giles Tire Store.
The annual business meeting will be Sunday, November 15 at 5:45 pm. At this annual business meeting we will vote on the 2010 financial plan and the ministry team leaders. Your personal presence and participation in the business meeting is deeply valued. However, if you are not able to be present, please be aware that absentee ballots will be available at the welcome center next Sunday, November 1, and must be returned to the church office by 3:00 PM Friday, November 13th.

Our Building Blast CampaignIt is spawned by faith, sustained by hope and strengthened by enthusiasm. It's deeper than a dream and reaches beyond the predictable and safe into the unexpected ... right into what our congregation has discerned to be God's plan: for our church to purchase Giles Tire Service and remove the building to utilize the property.
