February 8 - Honduras MinistryOn Sunday morning, February 8, our Honduras Ministry will be sharing during the Sunday School hour about their recent experiences in Honduras. Please join them in the sanctuary on the 8th at 9:45 am. February 15 - Building UpdateOur church council has been charged with the task of making recommendations to the congregation about potential building upgrades and improvements. They would like to bring the congregation up to date on the current state of their conversations. You are invited to join them on Sunday evening, February 15, at 6:00 pm. We will be meeting in the sanctuary. Faith PromiseAs of the end of December, current Faith Promise contributions were $8,500.00. Total pledges were over $40,000.00 for the year. If you have made a Faith Promise commitment, please continue to watch for unexpected money God provides for you. If you have not made a commitment but would like to make a onetime gift for the School Project, please visit the Faith Promise page or designate "Faith Promise" or "Hope" on your gift envelope. Thank you. Family NewsFrom Kathy Smith: Many have inquired about our son Josh and how he is doing in as he works with the people from MMI (Medical Ministries Int.) in the Dominican Republic. He is now starting his last week and it has proven to be a great experience. Read more details on our Family News page. Food PantryOur food pantry is in need of donations. We are also asking for a volunteer who would be interested in organizing and maintaining the pantry. Please contact the church office to see what is needed before you bring in your donations or to volunteer to oversee the pantry needs. Salvlation ArmyA drive to collect "non" food items for the Salvation Army is underway. Please bring in items such as toilet paper, Kleenex, soap, hair care, laundry products ect. The collection barrel is located in the church narthex. Saginaw Inner City School NeedA Saginaw Inner-city Elementary School has a need for warm mittens, hats and scarves.
