May 31 - Covenant with First Church of God
On Sunday morning, May 31st, we will recognize those who are new to our church and wish to make it their church 'home'. First Church of God does not have a formal membership, but we do encourage those who have decided to make this their 'home' church to sign a covenant and be recognized by the congregation.You can find a covenant at the welcome center. Please sign it and return it to the welcome center or the church office May 24th.

May 15 & 16 - Honduras Garage Sale
Friday and Saturday, May 15 & 16 from 9:00 - 5:00 at 102 E. State St., St. Louis. We are accepting donations. Call Shirley at 681-2539.
May 16 - Church Work Day
On Saturday, May 16th we will have a "work day" to clean up our facilities as we prepare for Memorial weekend. Should you be available please plan on meeting at the church by 8:00 am. We should be done by noon. No need to call just show up with a rake and some basic tools if you have them. Thank you!
May 17-18, Celebrate Your Marriage

Dear Church Family... these past couple of months Dean and I have truly experienced God's love and grace from the many gestures of kindness from you, our church family. From the delicious meals and desserts, the many thoughtful cards and phone calls, and the unceasing prayers, it has been overwhelming and we are so thankful for you all. When there has been uncertainty in our lives, we've always known where to find comfort and love. We serve an awesome God who knows our needs and always provides the strength to get through the tough times, and His love surrounds us through you all. Thank you for caring for our family the way you do!

Church Co-Ed Softball Sign-up
Please let Angie Armstrong know if you are interested in playing on the church co-ed softball team. You must be 16 years or older to play. The first game is the week of June 1st. $15 to play, which needs to be paid to Angie by May 17th. Please contact Angie or by phone at (989) 560-7175 if you are interested. Baby Bottle Boomerang
We have a wonderful opportunity to support Pregnancy Services of Gratiot County and their many life affirming programs. Please stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a baby bottle that you can take and fill with change, bills or a check. Please also use these bottles in your home as a reminder to pray for their ministry as you fill it with your loose change. We ask for the bottles to be returned to church Father's Day weekend, Sunday, June 21st.
Aerobics Child Care Worker Needed
His Place is seeking two childcare workers to begin in September for all aerobics classes. This is a paid position with approximately 10 hours of childcare. Please contact Chris or Connie at His Place or by phone at 463-1676.

Warner Camps
Camp dates and registration sheets are on the bulletin board downstairs by the 2's and 3's room. Scholarships are also available to everyone who completes a form. Family News
Eunice Sangster has been diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. At this time we ask her church family to be in prayer for she and Ken. Pray for wisdom for the doctors. We will keep you posted as we learn of the outcome of her biopsy or any further information she and Ken wish to share. "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." Romans 12: 4-5 NIV
Betty Thrush, beloved mother of Ginger Smith was embraced by her Lord, Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 10th at her home with her family by her side. A funeral service for Betty is scheduled for Thursday, May 14th at 1 pm at M-46 Tabernacle. The family will receive family and friends at a visitation scheduled for Wednesday, May 13th at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Vestaburg from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Condolences for the family may be emailed to brighamfuneralchapel@cmsinter.net. Please pray for comfort and peace for the family.
