 | Stephen Ministry
The center of theStephen Ministry's caregiver compass contains a symbol that represents Christ. Chi and Rho are the first two letters of the Greek word Christos, which means Christ. Since early Christian times, the first two letters of Christos - the Chi, which looks like an X, and the Rho, which looks like a P, have been used as a symbol for Jesus. This symbol is placed in the center of this emblem to illustrate that Christ is to be the center of our lives. As Stephen Ministers, we seek to focus on a Christ centered life. This is an on going process that requires daily exercise. Just as we work out physically to keep our bodies in shape, as Stephen Ministers we seek to spiritually exercise daily to keep our lives focused on being Christ centered. |
