Youth Kick-Off – Amazing Race! Sunday, Sept. 20th
Drop-Off: Filling Station Youth Center (First Church of God)
Pick-Up: Jeff and Stephanie Leppien’s (3239 W Harrison Rd, Alma)
We will be bringing back the Amazing Race this year! Meet at the Filling Station at 5:30pm wearing clothes/shoes that you are willing to get messy/wet. We’ll have some hearty food to end the race, but please also bring a snack or drink to share!
Night ends at 8:30pm (one hour longer than normal time). Please make sure your ride picks you up at the Leppien’s house. If you bring your own vehicle, we can transport you back to the Filling Station at the end of the night.
Sunday Nights @ the Filling Station begins Sept. 27th!
For 7th through 12th grade students. Worship together, connect, discuss important topics, and of course, eat, hang out and have fun! Students meet every Sunday Night during the school year from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Sunday Morning Christian Education – Begins Sept. 13th
Students will meet every Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45am at the Filling Station for Christian Education
Parents Night – Bigger and Better Challenge! Sunday, Sept. 27th
All parents are invited to join our students for a night of fun. Experience Sunday nights with us as we worship, play games together, then send everyone on a mission to find the biggest and best object by trading with others. We’ll also preview all the upcoming youth events, fundraisers, and trips. Don’t miss it!
Parents: Snacks for Students
A huge way we bless students each year is by signing up to provide snacks for Sunday nights. Our goal: Enough volunteers so that each family would provides snacks only once per semester. Please contact

Youth House Parties Coming Monthly to a House Near You!
Stay tuned for information about traveling house parties (youth staff and church families will host). This will be a perfect opportunity to invite and introduce friends.
Little Caesar’s Fundraiser Sept. 27th-Oct. 18th
Want to begin saving for youth events? Each student has a youth account that can help pay for winter retreats, youth trips, and even IYC San Antonio! Fundraiser begins Sept. 27th! All forms will be due Sunday, Oct. 18th with delivery that week.
International Youth Convention (IYC) INFORMATION MEETING – September 27th
For all incoming 9th-12th grade students in 2016: If you are interested in our youth convention and mission experience to Houston and San Antonio, TX next summer (2016), please plan on attending this 15 minute informational meeting. We will discuss the vision of this trip, important dates, ways you can raise support, and answer any questions that you may have. Whether it’s your first IYC or third, or even if you’re not sure about attending yet, please don’t miss this gathering to learn all you can! We will meet in the West Room of the Church Sanctuary following the 11am Worship Service.
Youth Sunday Sunday, Nov. 1st
On this Sunday, our Jr. and Sr. High students will be leading both morning worship services at First Church of God. From singing and playing instruments, to greeting, ushers, praying and sharing, we hope your student will be join us as they use their unique gifts in worship to God. Sign-ups coming in October.

MSLI – Michigan Student Leadership Institute (Nov. 13-14) Battle Creek, MI
Join students from around the state of Michigan for a full weekend of discipleship training and fun. Discover your spiritual gifts as well as how to live for Jesus in every arena of your life.
Want to meet once a month to go deeper in your spiritual growth? The purpose of student leadership this year will focus on mentorship and missional outreach. Please see Pastor Ben for details.
Want to get more involved doing something you love on Sunday nights? Whether it’s music, skits, tech booth, or welcoming new students, look for sign-ups this fall to join a team!
Medical Form for Youth Events/Trips
MUST HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN RETREATS AND EVENTS IN 2015-2016
Please be sure to pick up/complete the Medical Release Form for your son/daughter which will allow them to attend all youth events and trips for September 2015-August 2016. The sooner the better as events are already underway!
